So I told everyone how Abby likes to play beauty shop. Well after the red comb fiasco, she got a pair of scissors and gave herself a haircut! About 6 months ago, Abby got a haircut from her cousin (Kaidon Scissorhands) and now she has started cutting her own hair. This was an absolute disaster! I got up with Abby at 730 am and watched some cartoons with her. At 900 am I decided to go lay down for a little while because I had to work that night. Well 45 minutes after I did she came into my room and just stood there and looked at me. At first I thought I was dreaming! She managed to find a pair of safety scissors for Kiera's school projects in a drawer in my kitchen and decided to give herself a mullet-style haircut.
Well the cut was awful and I had to take her to great clips to get it fixed. When I walked in the hair stylist said "can I help you?". All I did was lift Abby up so she could see the problem. She responded "Oh my gosh!" I thought you have no idea. So she tried to fix it as best she could. I told Abby she looked like a boy and she said "No mom, I am just a girl with a haircut". Well the scissors are now well hidden. Here are some after pics.

How sad Amy! I do have to say that jurnee and i busted up laughing.. (even though i know it probably wasn't funny!) oh well.. its just hair, it will grow back!
Amy I am so sorry, I can only imagine waking up to that. She looks adorable though and I think she has some talent, at least she didn't cut it right at the scalp.
hey arent those kids scissors supposed to not be able to cut hair and clothes? geez! well it'll grow back! she's still freakin adorable!
This is so funny but not so funny Im sure. I can't help but laugh at her saying she is just a girl with a haircut. My friends 3 yr old cut her own hair and it was to the scalp so your Abby did a WAY better job. She is gorgeous even with short hair.

Yeah she isnt in pain anymore so we are at peace with her being gone. I appreciate your kindness so much. We will see you tomorrow night!
